How Notifications Work Across Browsers
- Chrome for Android, Microsoft Edge, and Safari: Notifications are delivered instantly, even if the browser is completely closed.
- Firefox and Chrome on Desktop: Notifications are received as soon as the browser is open. If the browser is closed, pending notifications will be delivered when the user reopens it.
This means your alerts can reach users even when they are not actively visiting your website, helping you maintain consistent engagement and instant communication.
